I was just heading out to lunch with Patty and one of our new investors. But I always have a few minutes for you, baby. What's going on?

Mama… I saw Anthony.
Angelina (sits down slowly):
Okay… And? What happened?
Shayla (eyes welling up):
I went looking for him. I thought maybe he was at Amber’s house… and he was.
Angelina (shocked):
He was at Amber’s house? Why?
Shayla (shaking head):
I don’t know… but Mama, he told me—he told me… right in front of Amber… that he loves her.
Angelina (eyes widen):
He said that? In front of you?
Shayla (crying):
Yes! He looked me in my face like I was nothing. Like I was just some phase… He said he wants to be with her.
Angelina (tightens jaw):

Shayla (crying harder):

Angelina (softly):

Shayla:
No. It makes me weak. It makes me a fool. After all that Amber did… even after she was with Wayne… he still chose her.
Angelina (angrily):

Shayla (quietly):

Angelina (firm):

Shayla (whispers):

Angelina (pulls her close):

Shayla (sobbing):

Angelina (tearfully):

Shayla (softly):

Angelina (gently wipes her tears):
